Taleglow Reading is designed for children to use with a parent or legal guardian. We minimize data, do not sell personal information, do not serve advertising, and do not provide public profiles, chat, or social sharing.

A parent account uses the parent’s email and authentication information. Child profiles may include a first name, age, profile selection, reading level, avatar, interests, preferences, progress, and assistance history. We may also store subscription status, notification preferences, device token, language, timezone, and operational logs.

Some preferences remain on the device. Signed-in account, profile, and progress data may sync to our hosted database. Private avatars and personalized narration may be stored in protected cloud storage. Data is encrypted in transit.

We use information only to operate, personalize, secure, support, and improve Taleglow Reading. We do not sell, rent, trade, or use child information for advertising or data brokerage. Contracted infrastructure, narration, and app-store providers process only what is needed for their service.

We retain information while an account is active and only as long as reasonably necessary for the service, legal obligations, dispute resolution, and security. Parents can permanently delete an account in the app or request deletion at taleglow.app/delete-account.

A parent may request access, correction, or deletion, withdraw consent where applicable, or refuse further collection. A child should not create an account or submit personal information without a parent or legal guardian.
